Task 2

This is an eye that I animated in Adobe flash using the technique of traditional drawing and onion skinning. One drawing the eye closing, making it open was really easy, I added a slight pause to the blink and then reversed the flames to have it open again.

This is a frame by frame walk cycle I made on Adobe flash using the paint tool and onion skinning.




I also gave him a cloud.

The original walk cycle I attempted looked really wrong, I like it though, because it still looks like an old man dancing badly at a party.

What is Rotoscoping?

Rotoscoping is the transformation of real life footage to animation, the method to do this is by tracing over the original video footage.
There are still many techniques in which this effect can be achieved like traditional and digital.






This image is a print screen of the process included in rotoscoping.. Which is merely drawing the lineage of image itself in another layer above the video.. I like rotoscoping because it allows you the chance to manipulate reality.
